Subject: Cruise plan

The goal for the upcoming cruise aboard the Revelle is to test
the SeaSoar towed vehicle.  The SeaSoar is equipped with a CTD
and is towed between the surface and 400 m depth at a speed of 8 knots.

The plan is to steam to CalCOFI station 93.40 (32 30.7 N, 118 13.1 W)
and deploy the SeaSoar.  We will tow the complete length of line 93 to
station 93.120 (29 50.7 N, 123 35.1 W) We will then turn around and tow
back along the same line recovering the SeaSoar at station 93.40.
