Leg 1 Cruise track is similar to previous cruise, no CTDs below 1000m (unless the bottom is a few meters further). ODF technician to provide support to ensure consistency between institution's data acquisition files for CTD, XBT and ADCP data. The acquisition PC contains 2 gigabytes of disk space, TCP/IP and an Exabyte and Colorado Trakker tape drive and a zip drive. The XBT system is the MKXII. Ship specifics can also be found on the Web page http://www.cms.udel.edu/horizon.html Sensor calibration to be performed pre and post cruise by ODF. CTD and Transmissometer data to be finalized by ODF. XBT and ADCP to be finalized by GDC. CTD Station/Cast numbering to begin with 001 and continue to 200, coinciding with the lowering number. The same is true of the numbering for the XBT's start numbering with 001.
