San Clemente Basin - 8 mile radius around 32 32' N, 118 8' W Santa Catalina Basin _ 6 mile radius around 33 9' N, 118 26' W San Nicolas Basin _ 9 mile radius around 33 4'N, 119 4' W. In San Clemente Basin we will be mooring a sediment trap (reaching about 200 m above the seafloor), box coring, multiple coring, otter trawling and towing a camera sled. In Santa Catalina we will multiple core and otter trawl. In San Nicolas we will tow a camera sled, multiple core and ottern trawl. We will need a 12 KHZ pinger and 12 KHZ chart depth recorder on the New Horizon. We will provide the remaining gear.
