Other Special Equipment - Comments:
1. We request 2 resident technicians for each cruise.
2. We will install 1 or more vans on the fantail
3. We will use CTD/Rosette, Underway system, plankton nets, salinometer, dissolved oxygen titrator which we will provide.
4. If over-the-side rigging (A-frame; squirt boom) is available it will help the program; otherwise we will do our work over the stern.
5. Our net tows will require maintaining a 45-degree wire angle which will require fine control of ship's speed in the range of 1-2 knots. Use of the bow thruster may be a help in this.
