Additional Information:
EMAIL MESSAGE FROM DR. WHEELER:
We are requesting the "standard" SeaBird package as back up
equipment on the Revelle COAST cruise. If the profiling pump sysytem works
well that will be our primary means of collecting water and CTD data. If
the pump system fails (we had no failures on the two summer cruises) we will
revert to CTD casts. If the crab pot situation prevents some of the
profiling work we will switch to CTD rosette work.
