Comments: All correspondence regarding REVELLE's port calls at Phuket should be sent to Captain Sunchai Sanguanpour at cruises@thoresen.com. Ship’s Stores/Spares/Equipment in Transit: Air freight must arrive Bangkok Airport and ocean freight must arrive Laem Chabang Port at least seven full business days prior to the vessel’s arrival to allow ample time for Customs clearance and onward transportation to Phuket. Both AWB/BL and Proforma Invoices must be clearly marked “Ship’s Stores/Spares in Transit” and addressed to Master of the named vessel c/o full style address of the port agents according to the format listed under "Shipping Address" above. Be advised: additional freight charges may accrue for overland transportation from Bangkok/Laem Chabang Port to Phuket - ask your shipper about this. Proforma Invoices (manifests) must indicate description and number of pieces/sets for each item, unit price, etc. All invoices, AWB and BL to be in English language only. It is advisable to fax copies of both the AWB/BL and Proforma Invoices to port agent in appropriate time to review. Ship's stores/spares may NOT be hand carried to ship as part of joining crew or scientific personnel's personal luggage. Any hazardous materials items will require additional supporting documents such as MSDS, UN No. etc. |
