I would like to request the following CTD casts be added to our cruise plan. After the recovery of the mooring, we would like two CTD cast, one with the ships CTD, and the second with our optical profiler. The location of this cast will be south of the mooring location in 24m water depth, which should be no more than 500m distance from the mooring location. With the ships CTD, we would like to collect 2 water samples each at 4m, 10m, and 20m. This would be followed by 2 or 3 casts with our optical profiler to 22m.

Here is a revised cruise schedule based on your earlier email and the addition of the CTD cast's:

0730 Load ship at Santa Barbara's Stern's wharf
0800 Sail to mooring site(34 20.186N//119 25.964W (water depth 50ft.)), near Rincon Island. Work with crew on mooring recovery logistics and prepare for recovery while underway.
1000 Arrive mooring site, begin recovery.
1100 Finish mooring recovery, conduct CTD casts.
1200 Sail to Santa Barbara
1400 Arrive at Santa Barbara's Stern's wharf, begin offload.
1500 finish offload, ship sails for San Diego.
